The band, formed by its historical members G. Max and Rude MC, was born in Rome in 1994 in the Flaminio district from which they take their name. Their first successes came through live performances. They made their debut in 1997 with the EP ‘Restafestagangsta’, in the same year they collaborated on the soundtrack of the film ‘Torino Boys’ by Manetti Bros with the song ‘Sbroccatamente si vive la notte’ produced by Neffa, while their first album ‘Italy's Most Wanted’ was released towards the end of 1998. In 2001 their second album ‘Resurrezione’ was released, featuring their first national hit ‘Ragazze acidelle’. The following single ‘Che idea’ consecrated the band to national popular success, confirming and doubling their presence in the record charts and radio airplay, anticipating the album ‘Per un pugno di euri’ (2005). In 2006, the album ‘VIDEOGAME’ was released, anticipated by the single ‘La mia band suona il rap’ in collaboration with Max Pezzali. In January 2010 the album ‘ER MEJO’ was released; on 28 May 2013 Flaminio Maphia released the single ‘Allagrande (Praticamente in Mutande)’. From 2013 to the present day (2024) Flaminio continue their live activity, performing their repertoire together with the band ‘I bravi ragazzi’.
